Founded on the idea of Ewald Bos before steaming video was common on mobile devices and everybody was using it. It was in 2017 that we make some trails to see if we could integrate the functionality directly in the player, it needed to be an all-round solution that was easy to implement by clients, should not make a heavy impact on the client work-flows and above all fast and lightweight.
In march 2018 we started with a trail project with MTG (Norway) with the famous TV programme Paradise Hotel, we added product tags to 48 episodes for 3 months. And it resulted in a reach of over 2 million visuals and 860K+ product detail requests with a 6.2% longer program engagement. A Great Success. In the summer of 2018 we re-programmed the complete structure, added additional functions and possibilities of engagement. Today we are able to enhance the audience viewing experience, created a design to allow audiences to pause video content and discover an actor’s profile, the brand of clothing or product feature as well as identify a specific song and more.
